Vertebraid Tutorial

$4.00

Braid a beautiful cord with doubled strands of silver wire, then finish it off to create a bangle bracelet or smaller sections of braid with cones and a loop for linking. This is a great technique to showcase big-hole slider beads like the ones that fit Pandora bracelets. It is faster than Viking Knit and you don’t need to use a draw plate. This braid can be adapted for use with leather cord as well (last photo). If you’re a little intimidated by this braid or you want a warm-up, check out my Braided Copper Bangle tutorial.
